Advisory and Learning Services

 Sharing Experience. Strengthening Communities.

Food in Community has spent more than a decade developing practical solutions to food security, community resilience building and engagement, community catering, volunteer involvement and supporting people experiencing hardship or disadvantage.  Along the way, we have learned a great deal about what works, what doesn’t, and how to create meaningful impact whilst remaining sustainable.

Increasingly, we are approached by charities, community groups, social enterprises, businesses and aspiring founders seeking guidance, mentoring and insight from our experience. To ensure that this support is sustainable and continues to benefit the communities we serve, Food in Community offers Advisory & Learning Services.  Every pound generated through this work is reinvested into our charitable activities and helps us continue supporting people in our communities.

How we can help

We offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation to discuss your ideas, understand your objectives and explore whether Food in Community is the right organisation to support your project.  All support beyond the initial consultation is provided on a bespoke basis and designed around the needs of your organisation or project.

Partnership working

We are always interested in exploring opportunities that create genuine benefit for communities.

Where organisations seek to draw upon Food in Community’s expertise, experience, reputation or contribution to project development, we encourage early conversations about how this involvement can be appropriately recognised and resourced.  Our aim is to create partnerships that are mutually beneficial, sustainable and aligned with shared values.  Any collaboration involving vulnerable people must align with our safeguarding, ethical and privacy standards.

If you would like to discuss a project, partnership opportunity or advisory support, we would be pleased to hear from you.
