Pay What You Feel Lunches

We have always seen the value of food as a catalyst to bring people together. Our delicious cafe menus are devised by skilled volunteers using mostly organic surplus produce, acoustic musicians add greatly to the atmosphere and have a platform on which to gain new fans. Our popular ‘pay what you feel’ lunch cafés in Totnes and Newton Abbot are currently on hold due to the pandemic, but watch this space as we will return, at least initially in a modified format that will hopefully retain at least some of the features our customers say that they value about our unique events. We miss you!

Our café customers and supporters recently voted us ethical food business runner up in the 2019 Observer Food monthly awards.

Our cooking team have been busy throughout the lockdown supporting other organisations who are making meals for vulnerable households when their chefs get sick or need time off, coordinating virtual community food prep groups that stop gluts going to waste as well as keeping shielding folk connected with others, and devising tasty, nutritious recipes for recipe boxes delivered to some of our food box clients. Aren’t they amazing?
